Dear Friends and Colleagues,
I am very pleased to announce the launching of the first issue of Arabian Humanities.
Arabian Humanities is the continuation of the earlier Chroniques yéménites journal, published by the French Center for Archaeology and Social Sciences in Sana’a (CEFAS).
This international online journal, which publishes articles in French, English and Arabic languages, is devoted to archaeology and social sciences research in the Arabian Peninsula, and will appear on a biennial basis (Spring and Autumn).
Meet us on the website !
Hosted and distributed by the OpenEdition portal, the Arabian Humanities journal is available at the URL of the Chroniques yéménites : http://cy.revues.org/1910
We invite you to read our first issue on « Gender Transformation in the Arabian Peninsula » (eds. Blandine Destremau, Stephanie Latte Abdallah and Marina de Regt), which will be followed in the fall by an issue on « Cities and urbanization in the contemporary Arabian Peninsula » (eds. Claire Beaugrand, Amélie Le Renard and Roman Stadnicki).
I wish you a pleasant discovery,

Juliette Honvault
